Who is the feel better guy?
​
Hi, my name is Jason Limerick. I'm almost 40 years old, but I somehow feel better than I did in my 20's! (How? By applying the lessons I love to write about).
​
I was born and raised in South Africa, but now live in the United Kingdom with my wife and soon to be born son.
​
I'm incredibly passionate about self-development and I have utterly immersed myself in the subject for many years now.
​
I love to learn, figuring out how things work and then testing them in the real world. Then once I've seen the benefits, I love sharing it with others.
I write and live with my heart on my sleeve. I sincerely hope that this is reflected in each and every post on this site.

My Story
​
A little over half a decade ago the stress, busyness of life, along with unresolved trauma became too much for me and I pretty much hit rock bottom. Everyone thought I was okay, but I was struggling massively and hiding it very well!
​
I could only suppress it for so long until I was hit with depression, anxiety, alcohol abuse, divorce, financial struggles, low self-esteem, a negative outlook on the world, overthinking, anger, blame, shame and guilt.
​
The shame and the guilt came from never being able to break out of my bad patterns and habits, from always starting and stopping and never actually following through on anything and feeling like a total failure.
​
My mental health was at an all time low and my physical health was shocking. I was suffering and very much living a life of quiet desperation.
​
Until one fateful day...
​
Where I made a decision to no longer settle for the life I had created for myself, which was the result of years and years of poor choices and habits.
​
Ever since then I've been mastering and simplifying life, one lesson at a time.
​
That’s why I started this blog, to share that journey and the life changing lessons, tools and perspective shifts I’ve discovered along the way.
​
It was those hard times as well as seeing the people close to me suffer, that ignited a spark in me and I’ve dedicated myself to helping others master their thoughts, feelings and ultimately their lives ever since.
